These pages constitute the terms and conditions under which you may access Vietladders.com, (the "Site") and use the information held therein (the “Services”). Please read these terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) carefully before using this site or any applications or services available from it. "You" are the person or entity using the Site. Each time you visit the Site or provide us with information, you are, by doing so, accepting the Terms at that time. You agree that by using the Site you are expressly and affirmatively consenting to our use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and consenting to receive emails, as described below in this Terms of Use.

• Member Conduct

  You agree to access and use the Site only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the knowledge of and adherence to any and all laws, statutes, rules and regulations, pertaining to (i) your use of the Site, (ii) the use of any networks or other services connected to the Site, and (iii) the communications means by which you connect your modem, computer, or other equipment to the Site. By accessing the Site, you agree that you will not:

• Intellectual Property Rights

  You may not modify, copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, create derivative works from, display or otherwise transfer or commercially exploit any of the information, communications, opinions, text, graphics, links, electronic art, animations, audio, video, software, photos, music, sounds and other material and data (collectively, "Content"), in whole or in part, provided, however, that you may (i) make a reasonable number of digital or other form of copies to permit your computer hardware and software to access and view the Content, (ii) print one copy of each piece of Content, (iii) make and distribute a reasonable number of copies of Content, in whole or in part, in hard copy or electronic form for internal use only. You acknowledge that the Site remains the owner of the Content and that you do not acquire any Intellectual Property Rights by downloading or printing Content.

  You may upload to or otherwise transmit, post, publish, reproduce or distribute, on or through the Site only Content that is not subject to any Intellectual Property Rights, or Content in which any holder of Intellectual Property Rights has given express authorization for distribution over the Internet and on the Site without restriction whatsoever. By submitting Content to the Site, you automatically grant and/or warrant that the owner of such Content, whether it be You or a third party, has expressly granted to the Site the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, unrestricted, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sublicense, distribute, perform, and display such Content, in whole or in part, worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any Intellectual Property Rights that may exist in such Content. • Limitation of Liability

  Under no circumstances shall the Site, its subsidiary and parent companies, or affiliates, or their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or licensors, be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages under or arising from this agreement, the vietnamworks.com career website, or any internet site linked to or from the vietnamworks.com career website, whether for breach of contract, tortious behavior, negligence, or under any other cause of action, including without limitation, any liability for damages caused or allegedly caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, electrical surge/damage/interference, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communications line failure, breakdown of equipment, software error, infringement, unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction, alteration, or use of, records.

  You specifically acknowledge and agree that the Site is not liable for any defamatory, offensive, fraudulent, or otherwise illegal conduct of any user. If you are dissatisfied with any of the Site’s Content, or with any of the terms, in whole or in part, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Site.

  We will not be liable for any payments that you are promised when accepting the interview offers. The companies that interviewed you are responsible for making such payments through Vietladders. If the companies refuse to make such payments, you can report the incident to us but we do not guarantee that you will receive the money.

• Restricted Access Posting

  This allows you to post your resume and other information on Vietladders.com, and have it viewed by any company that has an account with us, except for companies that you specify. Vietladders allows you to block specific companies from being able to view your profiles or resumes.

• Personal Information

  We do not sell our users' personal information to anyone for any reason.

  Your resume and profile information are protected and will only be found by the companies that have Vietladders accounts (the “Companies”) and which are not blocked by you. Your profile can be hidden from your current employer, or from any employer. Your name and other personal details will remain anonymous until you accept an offer to interview.

  In order to operate the Site in an efficient and effective manner and provide users with information on job postings and services that may be of interest to them, Vietladders.com may collect personal information, including contact information (such as an email address), from its users. In addition, this information allows us to provide users with private and secure areas to post and modify their original content on our site (e.g., jobs and resumes). We also automatically track certain information based upon your behaviour on the Site and use this information to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve users in general.

  You agree that Vietladders.com may use your personal information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests (such as relevant job postings and services), or provides administrative notices or communications applicable to your use of the Site. By accepting this Terms of Use, you expressly agree to receive this information. If you do not wish to receive these communications, we encourage you to opt out of any further receipt by following the opt out provisions provided in each such communication.

• Referrals

  You have the option to provide the name and email address of friends for the purpose of referring them as users of the site. When you refer friends, the name and email address of the referred person may be retained in our database.

  Use of our referral service to tell a friend about our site or a job opportunity, or to participate in a referral chain, requires that you enter your friend’s name and email address. With your consent, we will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site or view the opportunity.

• Use of Personally Identifiable Information by Companies

  Companies may choose to contact you via a message sent through the site. However, to ensure your privacy, Vietladders will not display or give out your email address or any other contact information about you, including your name, to those Companies until you have agreed to set up an interview.

• Access to and Modification of Your Information

  You may review, correct, update or change your Vietladders account information at any time. From your Vietladders account you may also opt out of receiving newsletters and certain other information from Vietladders.

  To change your Vietladders account information, simply log into your Vietladders account, go to your Account Profile, review your account information and, if you wish, edit it with the options provided.

• Opt-Out/Correct/Delete/Deactivate

  You may elect not to receive future communications from Vietladders or to discontinue use of our service

  If you have previously made contact (by expressing interest in a job, or participating in communication, or referring someone else for a job) with any Companies, you must independently opt-out of communications from that individual Company.

  Individuals who wish to deactivate their Vietladders account may do so. Removed information may persist in backup or cached copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to any user of Vietladders.

  We may retain indefinitely all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use of Vietladders more efficient, practical, and relevant. Of course, you can delete your resume from Vietladders' online database or close your Vietladders account at any time, in which event we will remove all our copies of your profile from Vietladders.

• Cookies

  At Vietladders.com, we use cookies only for the protection and convenience of our users. Cookies enable us to serve secure pages to our users without asking them to sign in repeatedly. If a user's system is idle for more than an hour, however, the cookie will expire, forcing the user to sign in again to continue their session. This prevents unauthorized access to the user's information while they are away from their computer. You may have the ability to reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent; however, some Vietladders.com features or services may not function properly without cookies.

• No Guarantee

  Vietladders.com cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Terms of Use. Therefore, although we are committed to protecting your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private. As a user of the Site, you understand and agree that you assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Site, the Internet generally, and the documents you post or access and for your conduct on and off the Site.

• When We Disclose
