What prevents fraud or gaming the system?
We have a system that tracks statistics and feedback on each member by the companies who have contacted or interviewed them. This information give prospective employers a sense of how serious the candidates are in accepting and going to interview.
Employers can get their money back and the individual don’t get paid if:
- The individual no-shows or shows up late for the interview
- The individual fails to take the interview seriously
- The individual has lied on their CV
Alternatively, the employers can select to talk only to individuals who are willing to interview for free or planning to donate this money to the Saigon Times Foundation as indicated in their CV.

Vietladders protects your privacy:
Your name and contact information are never shown to companies or recruiters until you accept an offer to interview with them. You can easily block any companies you want (including your current employer) from finding your CV.

It's faster and less expensive for a company to pay candidates for interview then it is to pay a recruiter 2 months of the candidate's salary or to post jobs then sit back and wait for the perfect candidate to come along.

How does Vietladders work?
We actively pre-screen all individuals on Vietladders, so in order to use the service, you must apply and be accepted or be invited by a current Vietladders member. Then you post your CV on vietladders (or the link to your online CV). Once you've been accepted, you set your interview price
Employers search Vietladders for the skills and experience they want. Should you have what they're looking for, they'll make you an offer to interview. If you're interested in the offer, accept it and go to the interview. If not, your identity will remain private.
Once we receive the money from the companies, we will credit your account with the agreed amount and will transfer it to your Vietnamese bank account.

What if I don’t care about getting paid or feel uncomfortable receiving money from the companies?
We provide you the options to tell employers that you are willing to talk to them for free if the opportunities are interesting, or to indicate that instead of getting paid, you would rather donate that money to Saigon Times Foundation.

What does Vietladders look for in prospective members?
Every resume we receive is reviewed by someone in our network of hiring managers and HR professionals. We admit those candidates we believe will be attractive to companies and receive offers to interview.
We recognize that there are various combinations of skills and experience that make individuals appealing to companies. Therefore, our criteria for admission are not absolute, and may differ slightly by industry.
In general, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of work experience. Our preference is those with management experience or who possess in-demand skills. Besides, those who under 3 years of work experience can aslo post your CV and search for new career opportunity if you are confidence in your knowledge.

How much does it cost for me to use Vietladders?
It's free. Vietladders has no application, signup, monthly, annual or cancellation fees.

How does recruiting on Vietladders differ from traditional recruiting?
Traditional recruiting is a numbers game - recruiters contact a large number of individuals via cold call or cold email and hope that some percentage of those contacted are interested in the position.
Generally, this means that many of the candidates procured by recruiters are not qualified for the position, and never receive a job offer, or even a second interview. If you've ever been in this position, you know what a disappointment and waste of time it is.
